About FotoMate

Software that treats photography like the craft it is.

FotoMate is the all-in-one platform for professional photographers — client CRM, galleries, contracts, and payments in one place, from $19/mo. Here's why we're building it.

Our story

Born from one too many subscriptions

FotoMate started the way most studio problems do: with a browser full of tabs. HoneyBook for the pipeline. Pic-Time for galleries. A scheduling tool for bookings. A spreadsheet quietly holding the whole thing together.

Each tool was fine on its own. Together, they meant copying client details between apps, chasing contracts in one system and payments in another, and paying for three or four subscriptions to run one photography business. The generic CRMs weren't built for shoots. The gallery platforms didn't care what happened before delivery.

So we built the tool we kept looking for and never found: one platform that follows the real arc of a photography job — inquiry, booking, contract, payment, shoot, gallery — without asking you to leave.

Our mission is simple: give working photographers their time back, so the hours go into the work — not the admin around it.

What we believe

Four principles behind every release

They're not framed on an office wall. They're how we decide what ships and what doesn't.

Photography first, always

We don't build for coaches, florists, and DJs too. Every screen assumes you shoot for a living — sessions, galleries, shot lists, and delivery are the product, not an afterthought.

One platform, one bill

A studio shouldn't need a CRM subscription, a gallery subscription, and a scheduling subscription just to run. If it's part of the client journey, it belongs in FotoMate.

Honest by default

Clear pricing, no invented social proof, no dark patterns at checkout. The same straight talk we'd want from the tools we pay for ourselves.

Built in conversation

The community chat isn't a marketing feature — it's where our roadmap comes from. Photographers using FotoMate every week tell us what to build next.
